Implant Surgeries
A new root, placed with precision
Implant surgery places a titanium fixture in the jawbone to act as the root for a replacement tooth — planned from imaging before anything begins.

About the treatment
Planned from the bone outwards
The surgical stage of implant treatment places a small titanium fixture into the jawbone. Over the following months the bone grows onto its surface and locks it in place — a process called osseointegration — and only then does it become the foundation for a crown.
Planning comes first. Imaging shows how much bone is available and where nerves and sinuses lie, which determines the position, angle and size of the implant. Where bone volume is insufficient, grafting may be needed before or alongside placement, and that is discussed up front rather than discovered mid-treatment.
- Imaging and planning before the surgical appointment
- Placed under local anaesthetic
- A healing period while bone integrates with the implant
- Grafting requirements identified and discussed in advance
