Restorations
Rebuilding what decay took away
A restoration removes decay or damage and rebuilds the tooth so it functions, feels and looks the way it should.

About the treatment
Repairing a tooth, properly
Decay does not stop on its own. Removing it early keeps the repair small; leaving it means more tooth is lost and the treatment needed becomes larger. A restoration cleans out the affected tissue and rebuilds the space with a material bonded to the remaining tooth.
Tooth-coloured materials mean most restorations are barely visible once finished. Where a tooth has lost a lot of structure, a filling may not be enough on its own and a crown or onlay is the more durable answer — we will tell you which applies and why.
- Decay removed and the tooth rebuilt in one visit for most cases
- Tooth-coloured materials shaded to your teeth
- The bite checked and adjusted before you leave
- Honest advice when a crown would serve better than a filling
